Scanlan students joined other volunteers from Catholic Charities to shop for
families in need during this Christmas Season.
Students arrived at K-Mart on Astor Place in Manhattan at 8:00 a.m.
and began shopping for "their family".
Each student received a "Wish List" of items that their specific family needed,
such as a coat, hat, scarf. All things that many of us take for granted.
Each student read the story of their family and then immediately began to
shop for them, trying to find the "perfect" gift and the best bargain!
